Compatibility and installation
*Xander's list stops at LGA 1700; Intel states LGA 1851 keeps the same mounting-hole positions, so the included LGA 1700 hardware fits Core Ultra 200S boards. Allow at least 155mm of cooler clearance, and use a 5V 3-pin ARGB header only, never a 12V RGB header. For Core i9 or Core Ultra 9, choose a 240mm or 360mm liquid cooler.
FAQ
Is it enough for a Ryzen 7 9800X3D?
Yes for gaming. AMD rates the 9800X3D at 120W TDP and this cooler is rated for 165W.
Does it work with Core Ultra 7 265K?
For gaming, yes. For long renders, where the 265K can reach 250W, a 240mm or 360mm liquid cooler is recommended.
What is the difference between the black and white versions?
Only the colour of the heatsink, top cover and fan frame. The specifications are the same.
