Compatibility
This board takes Intel Core Ultra 200S processors on LGA 1851 only, such as the Core Ultra 5 225K, Core Ultra 7 265K and Core Ultra 9 285K. It does not accept 12th to 14th Gen chips, and it uses DDR5 memory only.
FAQ
Is the white version different from the standard board?
No. It has the same Z890 chipset, power design and ports. Only the colour differs, and MSI sells it as a separate official model.
Does it support memory overclocking?
Yes. Z890 supports Intel XMP 3.0 profiles up to 8800MT/s (OC) across four DDR5 slots, plus CUDIMM memory.
Do the M.2 slots have heatsinks?
Yes. The three M.2 slots come with M.2 Shield Frozr heatsinks, so you do not need separate ones.
