Compatibility
You need an LGA 1851 motherboard and DDR5 memory; it will not run on LGA 1700 boards or with DDR4. Because turbo power can reach 250W, plan on a 240–360mm liquid cooler or a high-end air cooler that supports LGA 1851.
FAQ
Does it come with a cooler?
No. This is the tray version with no cooler and no retail box. Intel does not bundle coolers with K-series Core Ultra chips.
What is the difference between the 265K and 265KF?
Same cores and clocks; the 265KF has no integrated graphics. The 265K can run a display without a graphics card.
Does it support PCIe 5.0 for the GPU and SSD?
Yes. With 24 PCIe 5.0 and 4.0 lanes, you can run a PCIe 5.0 x16 graphics card and a Gen5 NVMe SSD, depending on the motherboard.
