Gaming PC on Installments in Saudi Arabia: How Tabby and Tamara Work, Step by Step

Short answer: Want your build now but prefer to split the cost? Pick a build from PVP's installments section, add any upgrades, then choose Tabby or Tamara at checkout: 4 interest-free payments with Tabby or 3 with Tamara. You see the approval decision before you confirm, and the build keeps the same 2-year warranty and support.

Had your eye on an RTX 5070 build for a while, but don't want to pay it all at once? Completely normal, and that's what installments are for.

"Buy now, pay later" services let you order your PC and spread its cost over several payments. Here's how Tabby and Tamara work, based on what both publish on their official Saudi sites, and how the process runs at PVP from choosing a build to the last payment.

How do installments work at checkout?

At checkout you choose Tabby or Tamara instead of a card or bank transfer, and the provider reviews your request on the spot. If approved, your order is confirmed and you pay the provider in installments, tracked in its app.

One reassurance first: both companies are licensed in Saudi Arabia. Tabby says on its site that it is licensed by the Saudi Central Bank (SAMA) under permit No. 76, and Tamara Finance Company says it is regulated and supervised by SAMA under License No. 95/A Sh/202502.

On 29 June 2026, Tabby announced it had received a consumer finance license from SAMA, following the buy now, pay later license it obtained in 2025. In short, you're dealing with companies under central bank supervision.

How do Tabby installments work in Saudi Arabia?

Four payments: According to Tabby's announcement from Riyadh, the company continues to offer four monthly payments with no interest and no fees. For example, a 6,000 order becomes four payments of 1,500 each.

Longer plans: The same announcement says customers in Saudi Arabia can split purchases over 2,000 into up to 12 monthly payments, capped at 50,000, and that these plans are fully Sharia-compliant with no late fees.

One catch: Tabby said these plans are rolling out to an initial group of customers and expanding over the following weeks, so you may not see them even if your order is over 2,000. What counts are the options shown at checkout, and each plan's details appear before you confirm.

Approval and spending limit: Tabby's general Pay Later page says approval decisions are automated and customer service can't change them. Your spending limit depends on several factors, including your repayment history with Tabby, your outstanding balance and your basket value.

We reviewed the site's general version of that page, so some details may differ in Saudi Arabia.

How do Tamara installments work in Saudi Arabia?

Three payments: Tamara says its pay-in-3 plan is always fee-free, with a 0% APR. So the same 6,000 order becomes three payments of 2,000 each.

Number of payments: Tamara's Saudi pages describe its plans in more than one way. The homepage says "pay in 3 or 12 monthly payments with no late fees" and, elsewhere, "split it up to 24 months", while another page on its site lists 3, 4, 6, 9, 12 and 24-month plans.

The plan available to you depends on the store, the amount and your eligibility, and its full details appear before you confirm.

Late payments: Tamara says it doesn't charge late fees on any plan. But note: late payments are reported to the credit information bureau and can affect your credit record for years, and repeated late payments may get your account suspended.

Paying on time, on the other hand, raises your spending limit, per the company.

Who is eligible? Requirements and ID verification

Tamara: According to its Saudi page, you're eligible if you're 18 or older and have a valid payment card. Its FAQ adds a valid mobile number that can be verified and a valid ID, and mentions Saudi Arabia, the UAE and Kuwait.

You sign up with your mobile number, and your identity is verified on your first order.

Tabby: We didn't find a separate Saudi eligibility page. The general page requires you to be at least 18, with a valid national ID, a linked debit or credit card for repayments, and a good credit history.

The good news: the same page says a previous rejection doesn't necessarily mean your future requests will be declined.

Been declined before? Tamara's FAQ lists possible reasons, including:

  • Your card isn't activated or isn't enabled for online purchases.
  • Existing obligations with a bank or telecom company, or a flag on your SIMAH credit record.
  • Overdue payments with Tamara.
  • The risk system judging the order value as too high.
  • Purchases exceeding your allowed limit.

If none of these applies to you, Tamara suggests trying another card.

What's the difference between Tabby and Tamara?

Step by step: how do you buy a PVP build on installments?

The whole process takes 7 steps, all from your phone, and it moves faster if you already have a Tabby or Tamara account.

  1. Open PVP's gaming PCs on installments. The builds there come with the same specs and the same 2-year warranty.
  2. Pick the build that fits your budget and your monitor's resolution. Our tip: start from the screen you own and the games you play, not from how the case looks.
  3. Choose upgrades on the build page: graphics card, CPU, RAM, storage, cooling, case or monitor. Each upgrade is added to the total you'll split.
  4. Complete your order and choose Tabby or Tamara on the checkout page.
  5. Log in or sign up with your mobile number, verify your identity if it's your first order, and add your card.
  6. Choose the plan offered to you and review the number of payments and the amount of each. The approval decision appears before you confirm; then you pay the first installment if the plan requires it.
  7. Your order is confirmed, and you track the remaining payments in the Tabby or Tamara app or website.

As PVP's installments section explains, approval follows the provider's own terms; it isn't the store's decision.

What should you check before confirming?

  • Check the payment against your income: Divide the total by the number of payments and make sure each fits your monthly income comfortably, especially if you're a student or new to your job.
  • Upgrades raise the total: Every upgrade adds to the amount, which can change the plans offered or the approval decision, because your spending limit depends on the order value.
  • Read the plan details: The Tabby or Tamara screen shows the number of payments and their due dates before you confirm, so take a minute to read it.
  • Get your card ready: Make sure it's enabled for online purchases, since that's one of the rejection reasons Tamara lists. If you're a parent buying for your son, keep the account and card in your own name.
  • Pay on time: Even without late fees, late payments can affect your credit record for years, according to Tamara, so make sure your linked card has funds before each due date.

Does the warranty or support change if you pay in installments?

No. PVP's installments section states that the builds have the same specs and the same 2-year warranty. Every build comes with professional assembly, genuine Windows 11 Pro, activated, and after-sales technical support through PVP LifeTime, whether you pay in full or in installments.

Still deciding on specs? Browse all PVP gaming PCs to find the tier that suits you, then complete your purchase from the installments section.

Where should you start?

Take your time choosing the build first; it's the machine you'll be gaming on for years. After that, the installment part takes minutes: open gaming PCs on installments, pick your PC and split the cost interest-free with Tabby or Tamara, with the approval decision shown before you confirm.

Frequently asked questions

Are PVP installments interest-free?

Yes. PVP's installment pages state "interest-free", and installments run through Tabby or Tamara at checkout. Tabby offers four payments with no interest or fees, and Tamara offers three fee-free payments at 0% APR. The details of any plan you choose appear before you confirm.

How many payments do Tabby and Tamara offer?

Tabby offers 4 payments, plus longer plans of up to 12 monthly payments on purchases over 2,000, per its June 2026 announcement. Tamara's Saudi pages mention plans from 3 to 24 months. Your actual plans depend on order value and eligibility and appear at checkout.

Are there late fees on the payments?

Not with Tamara, which says it charges no late fees on any plan, and Tabby says its longer plans have no late fees. Paying late still has consequences: Tamara says overdue payments are reported to the credit information bureau and that repeated late payments may get an account suspended.

Why would an installment request be declined?

Usually for one of five reasons Tamara lists: a card not enabled for online shopping, existing obligations or a SIMAH flag, overdue payments, an order value the risk system considers too high, or exceeding your allowed limit. Tabby says its decision is automated and that a past rejection doesn't mean future requests will be declined.

Can I include upgrades in the installments?

Yes. Upgrades you choose on an installment build page, such as the graphics card, RAM, storage or monitor, are added to the total you split. Note that a higher total can change the plans offered or the approval decision, since spending limits depend on order value.

Do I need a credit card to pay in installments?

No. Tamara asks for a valid payment card, and Tabby accepts a debit or credit card according to its general page. Just make sure the card is in your name and enabled for online purchases; a card not set up for online shopping is one of the rejection reasons Tamara lists.
